DTL Anti-Virus Protection tests (2012 Q4)

Dennis Technology Labs has released its second set of unsponsored anti-virus reports.

These now include the 2013 versions of popular consumer products.

The tests examine the abilities of anti-malware software for consumers, small businesses and enterprises to protect against infected websites.

The independent tests expose PCs to real internet threats in real-time, using the same infected websites that attack users’ systems across the world. Testers then monitor how effectively different security programs protect the systems.

The results are available to download for free.
