Windows 7 hides file extensions
I've already discussed the issue of Windows hiding file extensions. Specifically, I've been disappointed that Microsoft has made this behaviour a default setting in Windows 7. There was a vague hope that the company would change this before releasing its new operating system but I can confirm that the final version of Windows 7 hides file extensions.
