The MPack toolkit, used to hack websites and turn them into spyware distribution centres, is now on sale at a knockdown price. Originally costing up to $1,000, Symantec has noticed that copies of MPack are being flogged by pirates for around $150.
The company has also published a clear description, with pictures, of how the MPack kit works. If you want to see diagrams of servers, clients and malware floating between them they are available on Symantec's website.
